For owners and residents

Ask once. See what happened.

Most owners have no idea whether their request was received, who is handling it or when it will be fixed. Answering those three questions removes most of the friction.

Submit a request in a minute

Describe the problem, add a photo, choose the location. It becomes a tracked ticket with a number, not an email in someone's inbox.

Follow the progress

See status, who it is assigned to and the response times your corporation has committed to.

Your building's documents

Declaration, by-laws, rules and notices, plus the documents specific to your unit.

Notices and appeals

If a rule violation is issued you see it, you see the evidence, and you can respond through the same channel.

Book amenities

Where the corporation enables it, book the party room, elevator or guest suite without a phone call.

Notifications that arrive

Updates come from your corporation's own address, so they look legitimate and land in the inbox.

A request with a number, not an email into the void.

In practice

You should not have to know your property manager's schedule to find out whether the garage door is being fixed.

The standard the owner portal is built to.

Why the portal is built the way it is

Owners rarely want more communication from their corporation. They want three questions answered: was my request received, who has it, and when will it be dealt with. Almost every complaint that escalates into a formal dispute began as one of those three going unanswered for long enough that the owner assumed the answer was nobody and never.

So a request in SquareSync becomes a numbered ticket the moment it is submitted, with a photo, a location and a status the owner can check without phoning anyone. It shows who it is assigned to and the response time the corporation has committed to for that priority. When it links to a contractor visit or a work order, that connection is visible too.

The same principle runs through the rest of the portal. Your corporation’s declaration, by-laws, rules and notices are where you can find them rather than attached to an email from 2023. If a rule violation is issued, you see the notice and the evidence behind it, and you can respond through the same channel instead of drafting a letter. Where the corporation enables it, amenities are booked without a phone call.

Two deliberate constraints are worth naming. Owner accounts are invited and verified against the corporation’s register — you cannot sign yourself up for a building you do not own in, which protects everyone living there. And notices arrive from the corporation’s own authenticated mailbox, so they look legitimate and reach the inbox rather than the spam folder.

Questions we get asked

How do I get an account?

Your corporation invites you. Owner records are verified against the register, so you cannot self-register — that protects everyone in the building.

Will management see everything I write?

Your requests go to the people managing your building, as they would by email. Other owners do not see them, and your contact details are not published.

Can I get notices by mail instead?

Yes. Electronic delivery is an option you consent to, and you can withdraw that consent.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The portal is a website that works in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app.
